-Prepares the annual marketing plan that covers all markets the company operates within in a
manner that serves company business objectives.
-Sets marketing budgets for the overall company and per brand and country.
-Works on setting a rational marketing budget that best achieves the company objectives and
works on the rational spending
-Builds and manages a marketing team that covers all needed company marketing activities (eg.
brand management, research, markcom, etc)
-Monitors competition and competitors marketing activities.
-Alerts sales and product development teams on competitors activities, promotions, and new
launches.
-Owns the company brands and the corporate image.
-Plans events internal and external events.
-Plans the company participation in exhibitions and conferences.
-Acquires market studies and researches and handles marketing research.
-Coordinates market research with agencies if needed.
-Coordinates relations with media agencies.
-Owns company open communications with media and acts as a spokes person in PR and
media when applicable.
-Builds and handles a network of vendors and suppliers who serve all types of marketing activities.
