Brand Manager - Fashion Retail
Reporting to the
General Manager you will be responsible for leading
the sales & profitability of your brand throughout the
region In conjunction with the General Manager you
will plan the annual budget per store within the brand
Overall responsibility for sales, profit, stock loss,
expenses & costs (wages) Work in line with the
International Principal partner on new season
merchandise marketing / promotional material Provide
effective leadership to your store operations team /
Area Manager Travel overseas to the brand Principal
for seasonal buys and building the merchandise range
/ forecast Evaluate local market competition and
analyse pricing strategies Provide guidance to your
team on visual merchandise / brand integrity
Qualifications : Minimum of 10 YEARS Retail Experience with 5 years
management in Fashion, women wear and Footwear,
(men¶s or ladies) Previous experience of managing a
Brand including Merchandise Buying, Store Operations
& Principle relationships A strong understanding and
passion in following fashion trends Proven ability to
manage a retail budget, sales versus targets and high
achievement of results against forecasts Strong
people management, training, recruitment and
performance management skills Multi site or Area
Management experience in overseeing multiple store
locations is essential Ability to travel regularly within
the overseas as required Excellent communication and
presentation skills
