* About the Position

We are looking for a talented Web Designer to create amazing user experiences. The
ideal candidate should have an eye for clean and artful design, possess superior user
interface design skills and be able to translate high-level requirements into interaction
flows and artifacts, and transform them into beautiful, intuitive, and functional designs.​
A web designer creates the look, layout, and features of a website. The job involves
understanding both graphic design and computer programming. Once a website is
created, a designer helps with maintenance and additions to the website. They work with
development teams or managers for keeping the site up-to- date and prioritizing needs,
among other tasks.

* Responsibilities & Duties:

A web designer job duties cover all aspects of creating a website. Upon meeting with

clients and assessing their needs, web designers help create and maintain the product.

Their duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

 Develops website by planning, creating, and executing the design/layout

Expertise in HTML/JavaScript

 Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex

design roadblocks

 Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to

effectively communicate interaction and design ideas

 Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards

 Writing and editing content

 Designing webpage layout

 Updating websites

 Creating back up files

 Solving code problems

* Requirements:

 Proven Web Design experience

 Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio

 Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and

site maps

 Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, or other visual design and wire-framing tools

 Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping.

 Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction​

 Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively

 Up-to- date with the latest Web trends, techniques, and technologies

 Must have previous examples of work to be viewed

Being a college sports fan is a plus
