Age: between 30 and 50 years
Education: General Technical Education or equivalent proven experience
English: good written and spoken
IT Skills: good command of OFFICE (Excel+Word)
Experiences: minimum 5 years in the same position
Job Description/Main Tasks
1. Monitor the status of present and future materials in the Site laydown Area.
2. Keep updated Inventories and register in/out movements
3. Be familiar with Packing Lists, B.O.Q., Delivery Notes and Certificates of Origin
4. Be familiar with a variety of Site Construction Items (specially as regards Steel Structures coming from
external Fabrication Workshops, Piping Items, Electrical Cables, Bolts and Fittings)
5. Prepare Daily Reports as well as Look Head Reports about Material Movements
6. Coordinate a team of Workers to receive/ship material open/close Boxes and move material in the
Laydown Area
7. Prepare Handovers of Material to the Subcontractors
8. 80% of the time to be spent on Site ‐ 20% to be spent in the Office

The Material‐Man General is directly answerable to the Materials Manager (or Construction Manager).
