PIPING SUPERINTENDEND for Construction Site

Basic Requirements

Age: between 30 and 50 years
Education: High School Degree (preferably in Mechanical/Piping Disciplines) or equivalent proven
experience
English: good written and spoken
IT Skills: excellent command of OFFICE (Excel+Word)
Experiences: minimum 10 years in the same position (always in Construction Sites)

Job Description/Main Tasks

1. Be Responsible of a designated Area of the Plant as regards the Piping Erection
2. Verify that the Engineering is complete
3. Verify that on‐site arrived Installation Material is according to the Engineering
4. Report Discrepancies and/or Mistakes about Engineering and/or on‐site arrived Materials
5. Prepare Purchase‐Requests of missing Installation Materials
6. Manage the Piping Subcontractors as regards Pre‐Fabrication and Erection
7. Interact with Planning Department to understand and respect the Work’s Schedule
8. Conduct meetings with Piping Subcontractors and give them Guidelines
9. Prepare Minutes of Meeting (MOMs)
10. Propose Modifications and Evaluate their Financial and Time Impact on the Work’s Schedule
11. Monitor the erection activities and ensure they are executed according to Quality and Safety Standards:
specially as regards the Welding
12. 50% of the time to be spent on Site ‐ 50% to be spent in the Office
13. Daily Interaction and Coordination with Site Piping Supervisors & Construction Manager
