WELDING INSPECTOR for Construction Site

Basic Requirements

Age: between 30 and 50 years
Education: University Degree (in Engineering Disciplines) together with International Welding Certificates
of Qualification and Training
English: excellent written and spoken
IT Skills: excellent command of OFFICE (Excel+Word)
Experiences: minimum 5 years in the same position (always in Construction Sites)

Job Description/Main Tasks

1. Control and Implement the Quality Plan as regards the Welding Activities on site
2. Ensure that the Welding Subcontractor employs Qualified Welders
3. Ensure that the Welding Subcontractor follows the approved Welding Procedures (specially as regards the
Welding Preparation Phase) and uses correct Welding Materials
4. Coordinate Interaction between NDT 3rd Party and Welding Subcontractor
5. Coordinate Radiographic Tests and Welding Subcontractor’s Production
6. Verify the Film/Reports of the NDT 3rd Party
7. Participate at Meetings with Client and keep record of Welding Activities and NDTs
8. 50% of the time to be spent on Site ‐ 50% to be spent in the Office
9. Daily Interaction and Coordination with Construction Manager

The Welding Inspector is directly answerable to the QA/QC Department.
