Paint Supervisor

1. Job Purpose:
Supervises and Inspects the painting work carried out by contractors to ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with ADMA-OPCO painting specifications, required standards and quality. Inspects all ADMA-OPCO facilities in Zakum Fields together with the Site Inspections Engineer and reports on paint / lining conditions.
2. Principal Accountabilities:
 Ensures all sites and WHT painting work is carried out in accordance with ADMA-OPCO Safety Regulations and within the Contractor’s HSE Management System.
 Promotes / motivates a positive approach by Contractors to site safety, ensuring that they are utilizing the correct materials and equipment and complying to waste management system.
 Inspects all the contractors blasting / painting equipment and materials to ensure both ADMA-OPCO’s and manufacturer’s specifications / standards for the material to be applied are met.
 Inspects / verifies quality conformance to specifications for different stages of painting (where applicable) to ensure contractors adhere to the ADMA-OPCO’s quality standards.
 Carries out inspections and assesses on regular intervals the coating performance, paint, coating breakdown and corrosion evidence on all Assets’ facilities to identify painting work requirements.
 Maintains a register of all contractors equipment to ensure all certifications, where applicable are current. Prepares daily paint inspections report on performed job (work carried out, hygrometry, specifications, materials used, measurements, events) for records purpose.
 Inspects all insulations & Non-Metallic wrapping works. Ensures work is carried out in a safe manner in line with Company HSE system and procedures and that good housekeeping practice are exercised.
3. Communication & Organizational Relationships:
 Daily contacts with Mechanical & General Maintenance Section Leader to report status of all ongoing works.
 Daily contacts with work associates on site up to Team Leader’s level to advice on all painting activities and assists in preparations of painting programs.
 Regular contacts with Safety, Productions and maintenance to ensure all of Company’s safety rules and regulations are being complied with.
 Frequent contacts with personnel in OTS & ID to report any technical matters related to paint specifications and requirements.
 Frequent contacts with Logistic in order to deliver the required material as required. All completed work is reviewed and inspected by Supervisor.
المهارات
 Completion of Secondary / High School Education.
 6 - 7 Years’ experience in Painting works and inspections.
 Possession of National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE) Inspection and Protective Coatings/ Linings Certificates or equivalent, and good knowledge of International Standards.
 Good knowledge of English.
