The Brand Manager will develop the strategic direction for Al Foah’s brands to raise brand awareness and then aligning appropriate marketing and product development campaigns and activities in order to achieve those strategies.
Develops brand strategy, including the setting of brand guidelines, brand vision and value proposition for short as well as long term.
Contributes to pricing and promotional strategy, proposes brand portfolio for key channels and key customers.
Manages the development and execution of strong functionally aligned brand and sales plans, responsible for the performance, health and strategic alignment.
Monitors and analyses the brand’s performance of competitors to identify Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats.
Partners with Market Research in the development of strategic qualitative and quantitative research to identify consumer, customer and competitive insights and trends that justify development of new products and optimization of existing products.
Works closely with Innovation & Research team on understanding innovation pipeline for brand(s)/portfolio.
Assists with product development and pricing as well as developing new business opportunities.
Participates in the budgeting process, manages and controls the brand management budget.
Works with Digital and E-Commerce team to ensure go-to-market strategy is being followed and executed
Leads the brand management activities and the launch process of new products: positioning; feasibility analysis; forecasting and labeling.
Liaises with Sales force to develop, produce, and recommend market needs. Analyse effectiveness of the brands and obtain regular feedback from Sales.
Understands consumer behavior and motivations of target consumers.
Leverages the capabilities of a larger team (immediate brand team, cross functional teams, and agencies) through training and ongoing coaching and feedback.
Other duties as assigned.
المهارات
7-10 years of experience in Brand Management within FMCG, F&B;Industry or Consumer Packaged Goods
Minimum of Bachelor Degree in Marketing or Business Administration.
Proficient with MS Office and syndicated data software
Fluency in Arabic and English languages is required
In-Depth understanding of Retail and Export marketing.
Proven record of Knowledge and experience in developing brand strategy and execution.
Solid financial analysis, planning, budgeting and costing abilities.
Knowledge of current marketing trends and platforms.
