Fire Specialist - Crisis Management

الوصف الوظيفي
Principal Accountability:
a) Support competency and development of the Company Firefighting Team including:
• Support competency & development of each fire team member in line with the Scheme of services
• Support the progression and promotion of fire team are per Scheme of Services
b) Ensure conformity with baseline standard for all Fire Organization in the Company including Fire station minimum requirement, Fire Truck & Fire Equipment specifications.
c) Designing and approving of the Operational Fire Fighting strategy & tactics such as:
• Standard Operating Procedures for fire team
• Fire Station Manuals
• Fire Engine/Truck Specifications
• Site specific Pre-fire plan
• Identification of Staging areas
• All other fire team operational matters
d) Conduct annual audits on all Fire Team to ensure readiness which include:
• Personnel Competency
• Fire Station upkeep
• Fire Engine & equipment
e) To provide operational input to HSE design engineers on Fire Protection system such as:
• Advise on operability of fire systems, including fire detection and protection, water deluge and foam systems
• Address Fire Systems issues
• Maintain a good understanding of International Fire Codes and specifications
• Advise on commissioning & testing of Fire Protection System
f) Develops, in consultation with the sites, emergency response drills and exercise programs.
g) Determine objective, Scenario selection and prepare report & coordinate follow up actions for continuous improvement Represents the Company regarding firefighting issues within the Company and other related forums.

المهارات
Minimum Requirements:
a) Degree in an Engineering discipline, preferably Fire, Chemical or Process Engineering with relevant accredited certifications in Emergency Response & Crisis Support is preferred.
b) Should have attended certified course/training related to Firefighting & Prevention, Emergency/Crisis, Oil Spill Response, Hazardous Material Response, etc.
c) Should have held senior supervisory position in Fire & Emergency Response Services
d) Should have experience in an Oil & Gas (Exploration & Production), Chemical process, or similar industry and 10 years in fire and emergency response.
e) Broad experience of a range of fire engineering applications and be able to demonstrate understanding across these areas.
f) Proven knowledge and ability to interpret fire engineering related legislation, International Standards & Code of Practices (e.g. NFPA, ICS), with excellent verbal and written communication skillsg) Good Knowledge and understanding of the Incident Command System (ICS) disaster recovery planning techniques, Crisis Support & Business Continuity.
