Assistant Manager – Marketing – Al Jimi Mall
Location : Abu Dhabi
Key roles and responsibilities, Level N-4
JOB SUMMARY
* Ensure the mall delivers in line with corporate brand guidelines and values with the goal of maximizing the asset value of the property.
* Develop and maintain all marketing and revenue strategies to meet Mall footfall, average Spend, asset investment objectives; manage the entire marketing and sales product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Specify market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research. Evaluate customer research, market conditions, competitor data and implements marketing plan changes as needed.
* Develop and implement a mall wide go-to-market plan, work with all departments to execute. Develop partner relationships with various mall tenants. Create programs to improve overall mall compliance with marketing programs. Develop in-Mall promotional themes and events around different promotional periods and product launches.
* Develop annual marketing plan in conjunction with sales/leasing department, which details activities to follow during the fiscal year, which will focus on meeting Mall performance objectives.
* Oversee all marketing, advertising and promotional staff and activities; manage all aspects of print production, receipt and distribution.
* Oversee public relations, event and promotion planning, updating the mall’s website and social media outlets, the creation of promotional copy and marketing materials for the mall
* Plan and execute loyalty programmes, direct audience development to encourage repeat business. Ensure the achievement of frequent, timely and positive media coverage for and its programs across all available media.
* Develop and execute kiosk and event commercialization exploitation plan that de3livers value added revenues and enhanced footfall.
* Accountable for corporate and merchant communications, sales analysis
* Manage the Marketing Department Budget; deliver all marketing activity within agreed budget; direct marketing staff where budgets are devolved
* Staff supervision, office management, budgeting and monthly financial analysis and reporting, and operational issues all with the goal of maximizing the asset value of the property. The Mall Marketing Manager will also be responsible with assisting in leasing (long-term and temporary) and negotiation of contracts

CAPABILITIES / SKILLS
Business capabilities:
* Proven ability to oversees all marketing, advertising and promotional staff and activities; demonstrated technical marketing skills and product knowledge of marketing malls/ shopping centres.
* 8 to 10 years of revenue generating marketing delivery experience specifically in a major, landmark mall or shopping centre environment.
* Experience with data analysis and management emanating from enterprise software solutions within large, complex environments.
* Extensive GCC and international experience in all aspects of developing and maintaining marketing strategies to meet organizational objectives.
* Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
Interpersonal skills:
* Ability to negotiate and manage existing contractual agreements; identifying and completing new deals. Successful track record of leadership across cross-functional teams. Well-developed negotiation and analytical skills.
* Demonstrated advanced communication, motivational and interpersonal skills; Highly commercial, energetic, “deal-closer”.
Education:
* BSC in marketing or communication

We are looking at a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience covering the whole marketing spectrum
* Salary range: Max45,000
* Schooling: AED 42,000 per child
