الوصف الوظيفي Achieving the Forecast Accuracy through planning, preparing, issuing, and controlling medium to long term sales forecast as well as monthly Demand Plans in line with the inventory targets, to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials to meet production requirements. Develop long term production plans utilizing all available data and will interact daily throughout all levels of the organization. Develops and maintains reports relating to processes, products and operation on-time performance. Correlates planning and scheduling of orders with machine loading and labor availability to obtain optimum utilization of equipment, efficient allocation of labor, and on-time delivery of products. Advises management when on-time order delivery / availability is in doubt. Evaluates production statistics and their impact to the production schedule. Reports major variances from plan to appropriate management personnel along with a course correction action plan for managing issues. Effectively and sustainably managing working capital and maintain an optimal working capital level across the supply network to drive operational efficiencies, reduce overhead, increase revenue, decrease costs and improve customer service. Attend regular Operations meetings to develop priorities which are in line with Sales requirements. Daily review of sales order bookings to have products prepared in advance of dispatch day. Work pro-actively, on a daily basis, with the manufacturing supervisors, procurement and other departments to ensure schedules are maintained. Minimize Out of Stock events across the supply network to avoid lose in proportional sales and decrease in customer satisfaction. Reinstate that Standard Operating Procedures are in place and is efficiently in use to increase business productivity Manage the Products Classification on the basis of Items , Classes and Customer Dependent Replenishment Models (Make To Stock – Make To Forecast – Make To Order – Make To Ship) Optimizing Cost of Materials Write Off due to Obsolescence (For efficient Product Life Cycle Management.)
