Network Engineer – Entry (6 Months Contract)

الوصف الوظيفي
 Identifies, analyses, and drives problems to resolution, handling small to intermediate
issues simultaneously while effectively communicating and engaging high level technical
peers.
 Assists in testing, adjusting, and installing equipment as requested.
 Adheres to the agreed event management notification and escalation procedures.
 Configures, integrates and regularly maintains network solutions.
 Understand and support provisioned SLA services, this includes meeting response,
resolution, reporting, and RCA timelines.
 Assists peers and utilises software and hardware tools to identify and diagnose
problems and factors affecting network performance.
 Applies ITIL framework, close Problem records within defined timeline threshold to
minimize impact on client / outage.
 Prepares and maintains technical documentation to guide network users and to assist with
the on-going operation, maintenance, and development of the network.
 Executes troubleshooting methodology and root-cause analysis to resolve incidents and
service requests.
 Acts as a Tier I focal point to resolve all breaks/fixes and service degradation issues.
 Coordinates problem resolution, creates problem record and determines severity and
prioritization classification.
 Identifies/associates related incidents, Identifies/applies corrective actions, Initiates
request for change (RFC) record, and manages incidents to resolution.

المهارات
CCNA is a MUST
Performs any and all activities associated with the network infrastructure and
telecommunications services. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to switches,
routers, gateways, Internet connectivity, VoIP, wireless and appropriate management
tools
 Basic knowledge of routing and switching technologies, configurations & network
protocols
 Carry out preventative maintenance and systems monitoring as defined by operating
standards.
 Good understanding of troubleshooting methodologies, steps, and tools
 Knowledge of root cause analysis techniques, problem resolution standards and
problem analysis procedures
 Intermediate knowledge of local and wide area network connectivity
 Knowledge and experience with ITIL concepts, Incident, Problem and Change
Management.
 Understanding of Configuration Items (CIs) to ensure compliance with provisioned
policies
 Basic understanding of design, configurations, and support concepts
 Understanding of security policies, procedures and standards to promote consistency
of security products and services
 Practice network asset management, including maintenance of network component
inventory and related documentation and technical specifications information.
 Understanding of various monitoring, and management tools
 Knowledge of Injazat approved Network and Telephony products and services.
 Ability to communicate and multi-task under pressure
