Al Badeel Construction is looking for a “Civil Site Engineer “ to be based in our Abudhabi & Qatar office
SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS:
Plans, designs, and directs civil engineering projects. Calculates cost and determines feasibility of project based on analysis of collected data, applying knowledge and techniques of engineering and advanced mathematics. Prepares or directs preparation and modification of reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, environmental impact studies, and designs for project. Use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare engineering and design documents.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Analyzes survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photography and other topographical or geologic data to plan projects;
• Directs construction, operations, and maintenance activities at project site;
• Directs or participate in surveying to lay out installations and establish reference points, grades, and elevations to guide construction;
• Estimates quantities and cost of materials, equipment, or labor to determine project feasibility;
• Prepares or presents reports such as bid proposals, deeds, environmental impact statements, and property and right of way descriptions;
• Provides technical advice regarding design, construction, or program modifications and structural repairs to industrial and managerial personnel;
• Performs other related duties as may be required by the immediate supervisor.

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:
Reports directly to the Senior Construction Manager.
EXPERIENCE AND/OR EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
BS degree in Civil Engineering, or related field. Minimum of 3 years of increasingly responsible Civil Engineering experience. Ability to work independently in a team environment.
