Math Content Writer

الوصف الوظيفي
● Lead the design, development and revision of Math mini learning objective (MLO)
based lessons, ensuring content is aligned with the local context and culture to
meet the needs of micro-school learners (in English for non-native English
speakers)
● Implement curriculum models to be used for the development of Math lessons
● Design and develop processes, activities, and documents to support
understanding and problem solving for learning objectives
● Plan, prepare and deliver digitally-based instructional activities and materials
based on approved curriculum standards and models
● Support team initiatives effectively, collaborating on timelines and quality
standards to enable effective results and on time deliverables
● Collaboratively support the measurement, maintenance, and reporting of key
performance metrics, recognizing successes and proactively contributing to
problem solving to ensure deliverable deadlines and quality are consistently
achieved
● Consult on questions, problems, and ideas related to all Science based subjects
with Content Team as requested by manager
Key Performance Indicators :
● Quantity of final MLOs outlines developed per week
● Quality Standards Met (content accuracy, usability, completeness, design, etc)
● Revision Counts (goal is to communicate clear vision with minimal revision)
● Quality Assurance (goal is to have no errors reported after QC complete)

المهارات
Educational & Qualification:
▪ Advanced degree related to Education and the English Language (Instructional
Design, Math Related Major, TESOL, etc)
Processes & Practice :
▪ Certificate Teaching English as a Second Language an advantage
▪ Knowledge of digital curriculum design practices required
Experience : 
▪ Minimum 3 years teaching Math related subjects to non-native speakers
▪ Minimum 1 year leading teachers in the development of content/curriculum
strongly preferred
▪ Experience producing digital curriculum documents
▪ Experience teaching K-12 strongly preferred
▪ Knowledge of processes and standards for planning and implementing
instructional design and development
▪ Understanding of current emerging practices related to STEM and English as a
Second Language a strong advantage
▪ Experience producing e-content (portfolio of work) preferred
▪ Previous experience implementing various Learning Management Systems
preferred

and process efficiencies
▪ Deadline oriented; ability to articulate priorities and revise plans to meet tight
deadlines
▪ Project Management; familiar with various project management practices and
tools with ability to implement and customize to the needs of team and/or
project
▪ Fluent English required
▪ Arabic language an advantage .
