Urgent requirement for a Regional General Manager – Oil & Gas sector.
Salary - AED60-70k gross plus family status and benefits.
Location - Abu Dhabi.
This exciting career defining opportunity as this position will be responsible and accountable for Health & Safety, Full P&L;, Contracts Retention, Client Relations, Contract Administration, HR and Customer / Client Satisfaction in Oil & Gas / Remote Contracts. You will have full management responsibility for a large piece of strategic business.
As the Sector Head, this position’s primary responsibility is ensuring Contract Retention, Operational Excellence & HSE, Financial Delivery and Organizational Effectiveness by providing leadership for the company’s multi service business functions across a diverse multi ethnic mature large O&G;and Remote site community.
Working with the management team, the position also contributes to the development and implementation of operational strategies, policies and practices. This position will report to the Operations Director while interacting with the Executive Management Team and with the day to day Clients and their Senior Management.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
• Operational, Financial and HSE systems, processes and policies in support of organizations mission—specifically, support better management reporting, information flow and management, business process and organizational planning.
• Manage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of Support Services (HSE, Finance, HR and Supply Chain), through improvements to each function as well as coordination and communication between support and business functions.
• Contract retention, through meetings with Client Management & Executive Directors around operational, HSE and fiscal planning, reporting and communications.
• Supervise and coach on-site team, develop and build a better services team around you.
• Play a significant role in long-term planning, including an initiative geared toward operational excellence.
• Management of financial budgeting in coordination with the Operations Director.
• Development of individual program budgets for improvement projects, to ensure customer and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities by Function
Business Management
• Meet and exceed, health and safety goals, financial and working capital targets, operational service delivery and compliance goals.
• Direct annual budgeting and planning process for the organization’s annual budget with Sector Management and Finance Controller.
• Oversee and direct monthly and quarterly assessments and forecasts of organization’s financial performance against budget, financial and operational goals. Oversee short and long-term financial and managerial reporting.
• Assisting Operations Director in creating annual sector budget.
• Ensure that Accounting, HR and Supply Chain Department requests are resolved and communicated in a timely manner to internal and external parties.
• Develop long-range forecasts and maintain long-range financial plans.
Organizational Effectiveness
• Manage all multi service functions, managers and supervisors.
• Increase the effectiveness and efficiency of Support Services through improvements to each function (HSE, HR, Supply Chain, Finance) as well as coordination and communication between functions.
• Drive initiatives in the management team that contribute to long-term operational excellence.
• Providing consulting services on matters related to support services including business structure and growth.
Organizational Leadership
• Take ownership of short and long-term organizational planning and strategy as a member of the O&G;Remote management team.
Risk Management
• Serve as the primary focal point for HSE, Contract and Legal functions in addressing HSE and legal issues (e.g. incident management, supply chain and service delivery failures, etc.).
• Oversee organizational policies and procedures and manage and direct compliance.
Qualifications & Experience
• Knowledge of Oil & Gas, Mobile Vessel and Remote environment and knowledge and experience in organizational effectiveness and operations management implementing best practices.
• Very comfortable working in a diverse environment and in complex operations.
• Strong background and work experience in HSE and Finance functions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Persuasive with details and facts.
• Demonstrated leadership and vision in managing staff groups and projects or initiatives.
• Budget development and oversight experience.
• Demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace.
• Excels at operating in a fast pace, client and community environment.
• Excellent people manager that uses a collaborative work style and commitment to get the job done
• Ability to challenge and debate / defend issues of importance to the organization.
• Ability to look at situations from several points of view and to see the danger or warning signs early.

• Excellent computer skills including proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
