Reporting to the Sales Head, the Relationship Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships within defined target markets to acquire liabilities relationships. The candidate will be required to meet liabilities acquisition targets through acquiring New to Bank (NTB) clients and also by developing existing customer relationships.
The incumbent will manage, build and maintain relationships and have a flair for practical creativity while also personally closing sales calls. The candidate will have excellent communication and inter-personal skills, the poise and personality to deal with senior finance managers in client companies and should be results driven.

Key Responsibilities

• Define target markets for Liabilities followed by appointment scheduling and follow-up to acquire new to bank liabilities relationships
• Sale of liabilities products based on customer need analysis and risk profile
• Understand and communicate to customers the impact of changes / developments in the financial market on their portfolio
• Identify opportunities to cross sell other products and develop investment product knowledge to strengthen the sales efforts
• To sell in line with the organization’s guidelines, compliance policies and country regulation
Performance Measures

• Number of new relationships acquired per month
• Total value of deposits acquired in a month
• Value and number of cross sell products such credit cards and personal loans
• Client satisfaction

Education / Experience Required

• Arabic Speaker
• 3 to 5 years of sales experience in a bank with Deposits, Wealth or Liabilities RM and an understanding of the sales process
• Existing Client base and a UAE market exposure will be preferred
