Job Description and Requirements
Position Summary
The Senior Analyst - Systems is responsible to administer, maintain and support HCT’s system infrastructure. Maintain backup operations and disaster recovery support including preventative maintenance activities to ensure availability and performance of the infrastructure. Make necessary changes as recommended by the IT Managers and Supervisors, involving installation and configuration of new servers/storage /applications as required by new projects.

Key Responsibilities

Administer, maintain, support and monitor systems infrastructure such as Linux systems, Storage systems, Backup systems & VMWare Virtualization platform to ensure availability and reliability as per HCT requirements.
Support with the development of functional and technical specifications related to systems based on business needs.
Support in the installation, configuration and maintenance of systems in coordination with third party providers as and when needed.
Support with the testing procedures of systems as well as system upgrades and updates.
Monitor system’s availability and reliability on a regular basis and report KPIs as per HCT requirements.
Collect and analyse data on system’s performance; identify and support with the implementation of system upgrades and updates as and when needed.
Provide level 2 and level 3 support as and when needed through effective and efficient diagnosis and resolution of system-related issues.
Support on systems-related IT projects as and when needed.
Keep abreast of new IT developments and evolving business requirements and recommend alternatives and/or enhancements to current systems.

Requirements
Qualifications

Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required e.g. Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information System.
Full English proficiency is required.
Advanced computer literacy is required e.g. Operating Systems (/ Linux), Cloud Technologies, Virtualization Technologies, scripting (PowerShell, VB Scripts, shell scripts on Linux), Storage Area Networks, Enterprise Backup Technologies, and Enterprise automation and monitoring tools.
