Academic & Professional Qualification:
High school educational level is preferred.

Professional fire fighter qualifications from a recognized professional body (preferably: NFPA 472, HAZMAT awareness)

First responder BLS certified.

Fire Service Instructor Level I & II to NFPA 1041 or equivalent

Fire Officer I, II & III to NFPA 1021 or equivalent

Fire Inspector I & II NFPA 1031

12 years of proven working experience, including 4 as a Commander of Operations in a similar role.

On-hand experience performing emergency responses, attending industrial fire and accidents.

Able to perform basic first aid.

Hazardous Material response procedures.

Line rescue and confined space experience is an advantage BLS
