Structural Engineer

• Prepare structural design proposal for precast cladding / GRC cladding structure.
• Develop scheme designs for costing purpose.
• Generate/ run computer model of developed structural framing layout.
• Produce design spreadsheets in MS Excel or Math CAD.
• Carry out the design of structural members and related member connection details.
• Provide CAD draftsman of necessary reinforcement and connection details.
• Check conformance of CAD output against contract drawings and structural design.
• Validates structural design output of the team.
• Ensure company design standards are put into practice.
• Liaise with client’s engineers and architects.
• Make sure design schedules are on track with the overall project schedule.
• Prepare of alternate design proposal (Value Engineering) for various structures in the tender stage.
• Total-experience in major civil structural works, preferred previous experience in GRC cladding/ Aluminum cladding, Steel Structures, Building Facade Designing, Precast Elements, and Building Components
• Familiar with code of practice for design and construction of precast concrete structures: ACI Code, Uniform Building Code 1997, BS 8110 p1 & 2, PCI Design Manual ASCE, IBC, etc
• good knowledgeable user of structural software: STAAD Pro, Etabs, SAFE, Prokon related design programs
Must be authorized by Dubai authorities
