The Senior Specialist - HR is responsible for providing efficient and effective HR services within campus and is the main point of contact for staff on matters pertaining to employee relations, policy interpretation, performance management and, learning and development. He/she is also responsible for improving the campus HR environment by providing feedback and observations from the field to Line Manager in Central Services.
المهارات
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required e.g. Human Resources, Business Administration.
Full English and Arabic proficiency is required.
Advanced computer literacy is required e.g. MS Office, Banner.
Minimum of four years of work experience in Human Resources.
Implement HR policies, procedures and processes on campus, in coordination with Central Services and communicate new policy changes as and when required.
Provide daily support to campus leadership and staff with regards to employee relations issues and provide advice, guidance and interpretation of HR policies, procedures and processes.
Manage employee complaints, grievances and disciplinary actions on campus.
Communicate and implement new policy changes to employees as and when required.
Support and follow-up on the implementation of a performance management programme on campus in a timely manner.
Manage campus career planning, learning and development and performance management based on guidelines from HR Central Services.
Provide support on staff performance appraisals.
Coordinate closely with line manager to provide them with feedback, comments, observations and suggestions with regard to the HR environment and in order to identify areas for improvement.
Support with workforce planning and monitoring, data gathering and compilation, report generation and updates, and coordinate with central HR on managing the staffing budgets and positions.
Support with the initial recruitment processes and coordinate with Recruitment on the hire selection, on-boarding process, relocation of new hires and the new hire orientation program.
Maintain and update staff records and requests in an accurate manner to ensure the availability of information as and when needed.
