الوصف الوظيفي
Responsible for the safe management of all aspects of marine operations during the conduct of the rig move.
Liaise with and advise the OIM and MWS of the requirements for ensuring the integrity of all rig and third party assets.
Liaise with and advise the OIM regarding the correct deployment of vessels associated with the rig move operation.
Responsible for conducting the onboard pre-move meeting and briefing all participant vessel masters and other interested parties.
To insure crew and vessel briefing to be repeated after any change of personnel during the operation.
Responsible together with the OIM for ensuring that all marine operations are conducted in such a manner so as to safeguard the integrity of all fixed offshore platforms, subsea assets, rig and third party equipment.
Liaise with and advise the Drilling Supervisor on all operations associated with the rig move.
Ensure that any additional marine equipment provided for temporary mooring operations i.e pennants, shackles, buoys etc are in good conditions, certified where required and correctly recorded upon use together with the purpose for which the equipment is utilized.
He / She are satisfied that the unit is secured and ready for move operations.
Responsible of reviewing anchor patterns in line with the company offshore procedures, related to the rig move.
Responsible of reviewing the Sea Bed survey data, penetration history, ground analysis report and plan the move accordingly.
Deliverable reports (original and one copy0 shall be provided to company not later than 3 working days of the date of the rendered service and shall be in accordance with the company offshore SIMO Rig Move forms.
المهارات
Unlimited Class One (1) Master Mariner Certificate of Competence CoC STCW 1995 and amendments from a white list country.
Minimum of 8 years’ experience in Rig/Barge Operations
Hands on experience / fully familiar with the movement of all types of jack up drilling units and be capable of conducting rig moves to both open sea locations and close to sea structures.
Should have a Portfolio history of hands on Rig and Barge Moves and is able to demonstrate that he has been conducting Rig and Barge moves in an unsupervised capacity at least 5 years.
Should have a sufficient number of moves on to fixed structures using tugs or moornings.
Fully familiar with all aspects of marine operations connected with offshore industry and should be willing to train an existing work force.
The Marine field encompasses a multitude of disciplines and therefore experience in other marine operations besides Rig /Barge operations is desirable. Examples of other desirable experience are:
Offshore Oil Operations, Marine Inspection and Investigation, Marine Consultancy, DP Operations, Pipe Lay and Construction Barge Operations.
