Beverage Manager

The Beverage Manager will be directly responsible for the Beverage department across all the Brands outlets, products quality control, Beverage food cost control at production, products development, ensuring all the necessary steps are taken to maintain the highest standards of hygiene under HACCP & ADFCA rules & regulations, including training & career development for employees with all working techniques & methods used on-site for best output & individual’s productivity.  Duties & Responsibilities:
Ensure that all beverage products are consistently prepared according to the Brands standards & recipes.
Make employment and termination decisions including interviewing, hiring, evaluating and disciplining beverage personnel as appropriate.
Provide orientation of company and department rules, policies and procedures and oversee training of new employees.
Fill in where needed to ensure standards are met and efficient operation like implementing hierarchy within the beverage Dept. and employee career development plan.
Prepare all required paperwork, including forms, reports and schedules in an organized and timely manner.
Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and kept in excellent working condition through personal inspection.
Work with all the Brands Managers from other Dept or outlets to plan or introduce new items, or development of existing products through promotions, sampling campaigns…
Control food cost and usage by following proper requisition of products from storage areas, product storage procedures, standard recipes and waste control procedures.
Oversee and ensure that the Brands policies on employee performance appraisals are followed and completed on a timely basis.
Schedule labor as required by anticipated business activity while ensuring that all positions are staffed when and as needed and labor cost objectives are met.
Be knowledgeable of company policies regarding personnel, fair and consistent corrective action for any and all violations of company policies, rules and procedures.
Oversee the training of personnel in safe operation of all beverage equipment and utensils.
Responsible for training personnel in cleanliness and sanitation practices & implementing hygiene standards as per Abu Dhabi/Dubai Food Control Authority regulations.
Check and maintain proper food holding and refrigeration temperature control points.
Monitoring beverage sales from supplied reports by the finance Dept.
Develop new products according to the customer’s demand and in line with the Brand concept.
Beverage raw material price negotiations with suppliers as well as special deals for short expiry products.
المهارات
Ideal candidate:
Bachelor’s degree qualified
Must come from the F&B;industry
Excellent communication skills
3 – 5 years’ experience in a similar role
Expert in the field of hot and cold beverages
Management experience
Have UAE driving license and own car
Excellent English language skill - Arabic is beneficial but not essential
