1. Implement a quality management system that meets international best practice in higher education, as well as compliance with the relevant legislative and professional standards and regulations of United Arab Emirates.
2. Establish an integrated planning and quality assurance (QA) cycle, which is effectively communicated throughout the College.
3. Direct the quality assurance and accreditation (QAA) initiatives of the college (e.g. basic operations, the conceptualization and implementation of QAA policies and procedures) for academic and non-academic affairs.
4. Ensure that the continuous quality improvement goals of the college and its academic programs are coherent and fully meet the requirements of local and international accrediting bodies.
5. Provide staff development to ensure awareness and support for the requirements of the college’s quality management system, on a regular basis, and promote professional standards in leadership and the management of staff, with clear emphasis on continuous quality improvement.
6. Liaise with the Ministry of Education (MOE) regarding the program and institutional quality reviews and the Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA) on matters pertaining to higher education regulations and accreditation.

Qualifications & Experience
A Ph.D. degree preferably in a relevant discipline such as Quality Management.
Preferably with 5 years’ experience in a relevant field.
Knowledge of Ministry of Education (MOE), Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA) , Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK) and Accreditation standards, rules and regulations.Good Arabic and English command.

The ability to lead and absorb technical information, and disseminate it to the wider audience.
The ability to deliver workshops and seminarsThe ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to use the MS Office suite of applications.
The ability to prepare reports and technical manuals, including policy development.
A sound knowledge of all aspects of the external quality requirements in UAE.
The ability to work and communicate with people at all levels of the organization.
Good conversation and communication skills.
The ability to encourage and persuade.
The ability to solve urgent problems.
Good time- and resource-management skills.
