Job description
As the Estimation Manager you will be concerned with managing a project opportunity from qualification through to contract award, including value proposition / strategy development, solution development, cost estimation, partner identification, and risk management.
You will be instrumental for the growth of the business. You will lead a team of estimators and be responsible for managing tenders with a value of up to US$ 500m for water pipeline, construction of water and wastewater treatment plants, and other water infrastructure projects.
You will report directly to the Head of the Tendering Department of the Company’s Water Division in Abu Dhabi, U.A.E.
Tasks and responsibilities
· Develop bids from inception to completion for water projects in response to invitations to bid.
· Review tender documents including detailed review of the instructions to tenderers, scope of work, key contract dates, commercial price forms and terms of payment.
· Support business development team.
· Identifies and selects potential partners (JV, consortium partner, subcontractors, consultants etc.).
· Ensure that the bid is compliant with tender specifications.
· Review and develops the pricing structure, as well as other contract terms and conditions.
· Lead a team of estimators and ensures that cost estimates are competitive in the current market and the potential project is feasible.
· Manage inputs from technical, finance, commercial, legal and projects delivery teams.
· Manage the bid budget.

المهارات
Skills and Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with more than 15 years’ experience.
· Minimum of 7 years’ experience in civil construction estimating / tendering in GCC for water projects.
· Provides existing business network in the water industry in the GCC region.
· Ability to work under time pressure and meeting deadlines.
· Extensive knowledge of estimating strategies and techniques, construction contracts, FIDIC standards and regulations.
· Additional experience in MEP infrastructure will be an advantage.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
· Strong MS Office skills and advanced knowledge of construction estimating software programs.
