Our client is a leading retail company in the region and has a retail portfolio across the fashion, footwear, accessory and home categories for a number of internationally reputed retail brands.
In this role, you will need to organize, monitor and control planning strategies for the specific division in liaison with operations and supply chain. The aim is to ensure optimal availability through the management of open to buy and effective delivery, to meet customer expectations. In addition, you will need to seek to maximize stock turnaround; sales and gross margin and support/enhance brand profile, status, and equity.
Job Description:
Ownership of Brand contracts and commercial terms for all markets
Drive brand strategy to meet business growth plans
Deliver category sales, gross margin and turnover performance
Work with the finance team to monitor inventory levels
Work with Head of Merchandising & Planning to develop/manager financial plans
Identify and implement cost reduction strategies
Drive decision-making/problem solving on brand & supplier issues
Manage aspects relating to shipments, logistic processing & allocation function
Ensure accurate & timely completion of OTB at the division and group level
Monitor OTB limits and inventory budgets and devise strategies to improve stock turns
Use sales data to analyze past performance and forecast future sales in order to plan future budgets and inventory levels across the assigned brands for all markets
Ensure all inventory targets are met, including turnover, terminal stock, and movements to sale outlets.
Manages and approves Replenishment merchandise for the divisions based on model stock and trends to achieve optimal sales, profit and inventory performance.
Develop and maintain an effective working partnership with divisions particularly Operations Manager/ Area Managers and Store Managers, while ensuring teams execute brand/category strategy appropriately in all markets
Ensure effective communications on inventory control and ensure warehouse management processes are in place for each brand across the region
Provide leadership and direction to direct-reports towards the achievement of business strategies, goals and objectives.

Requirements:
BA/BS
Should have 10+ years’ experience in brand management
Regional experience (ME) is required
Should have retail experience (fashion/clothing)
Excellent analytical and negotiation skills
Strong facilitation, communication & interpersonal skills
Excellent follow-up, organizational skills, and project management skills
Ability to interact with all levels of employees
Team player
