Talent development manager supports fund’s efforts to attract, train, and keep the best employees. Focuses on designing and implement programs for leadership development, employee assessment, and succession planning Talent development manager works closely with an organization’s leaders to identify training needs and create strategic solutions for improving skills across an entire fund. With preferable finance background considering the Fund as Financial and Investment entity this role will focus in imparting training and coaching the individuals pursuing their professional certification in Investment, Finance and Accounting e.g. CFA, CMA, CPA or ACA
Tasks Includes:-
Drive Employee Engagement Strategy
Talent development manager partners with human resources teams and business leaders to implement employee engagement strategies. This can include talent systems, mentoring programs and succession planning.
Development Corporate Training Programs
Works with corporate leadership to identify individual learning initiatives that facilitate employee development.
Makes sure that key talent gets needed resources and information to effectively lead an organization towards strategic goals.
Ensures that leadership development happens at an appropriate level that meets the current and future needs of the fund.
Manage Orientation for New Employees
Managing new hire orientation and on boarding experiences for new employees.
Assists in the creation of internal fund career paths.
Identifies high potential individuals, determines work abilities, and professional support needed to engage and retain new talent.
Conduct Talent Assessments
Conducts career and talent assessments to individuals.
Utilizes leadership development strategies, tools, and processes to identify learning needs and employee competencies. The results of talent assessments are then used to fill key skill gaps.
Identifies employee readiness, talent gaps, and retention risks.
Measure Overall Training Effectiveness
Establishing ways to measure the total effectiveness of all learning and development programs.
Monitors and reports training data and statistics.
Focuses on improving employee abilities and strengthening the skill set of a fund’s existing workforce.
HR generalist skills
Works with human resources team to implement employee development strategies, thus he should have some knowledge of this area
Data analysis
Needs the ability to collect, gather, and analyse data and present concise actionable results.
Quality Assurance
Ensures compliance with quality standards (where set)
Takes responsibility for own actions
Ensures accuracy in all aspects of day-to-day activities and works to the principles of excellence at all times
EHS
Should adhere to EHS regulations & procedures, cares for safe working place, and to report EHS hazards, incidents.
المهارات
Education: Bachelor Degree or Master Degree in Business / HR or relevant major
Certification: CIPD Diploma or any relevant professional certifications preferable in finance
Experience: Minimum of 8 /eight years of experience in human resources, and talent development
Skills
- Collaborative leadership - working with various leadership stakeholders.
- Instructional development - understanding adult learning methods and instructional design.
- Public speaking - to be able to clearly present on a wide variety of career related topics.
- Writing skills - publish written reports and designing training materials
