Formulate, implement and evaluate policies and strategies for health protection and surveillance of workers to meet regulatory requirements and promote employee’s health and wellbeing
Perform Occupational Health Risk Assessment in compliance to ADNOC Code of practice requirements
Develop procedures and guidelines for controlling employee exposure to chemical, physical, ergonomics and biological hazards
Performs exposure assessments to identify and evaluate hazards and select effective control measures to protect workers
Participates in studies of new projects and plant modifications. Reviews specifications of equipment and materials on site to ensure Occupational Health requirements are included
Prepare monitoring strategies and performs field measurements using a variety of monitoring and sampling equipment
Prepare technical reports to document the evaluation of workplace hazards and mitigation strategies, including engineering controls, administrative controls or personal protective equipment, used to reduce or eliminate hazards
Support site OH team to develop their capability, motivating and mentoring them to meet the current and future requirements
Implementation of Occupational Health audit program. Conducts Occupational Health audits to verify compliance to standards and follows up on corrective actions
Communicate trends and advise on action plans to meet ADNOC / regulatory and voluntary requirements for health protection, surveillance and reporting
Provide training, advice, health surveillance, investigations of cases related to occupational ill health and other general Occupational Health issues
Compliance to annual Health performance reporting as required by ADNOC code of practice and highlights and presents issues to Manager with detailed analyses and suggestions
