• Responsible for the overall quality coordination of the project.
• Reviews and understand clients’ specifications and referencing codes & standards in line with the scope of work.
• Prepare Project quality plan, Inspection and Test Plan and other project specific procedures & obtains clients approval.
• Review project welding engineering requirements, identify WPS/ PQR and their qualification
• To conduct welder qualification as per project requirement
• To monitor weld repair percentage of the project, prepare repair statistics and identify root cause
• Identify non conformances on the project, raise NCR and provide root cause & disposition.
• To prepare and conduct weekly meetings, tool box and quality dashboard
• To conduct the Quality training to the project team members, conduct tool box talks to promote awareness of the project requirements and processes.
• To ensure quality assurance and quality control activities are performed in accordance with requirements and properly documented and reported.
• Communicates verbally or in writing to the Client and Third Party with project related queries to find resolutions.
• Attend project meetings internally with GPC team, and with clients.
• Prepare/submit weekly/monthly quality report including KPIs as required by the contract.
• Liaise with Clients and Third Party through RFI (Request for Inspection) during fabrication the ITP intervention points (Hold, Witness).
• Schedule/conduct project specific audits, supplier audits, sub-contractors audits, follow-up audits and close-out audit findings.
• Supervise all QC Engineers/Inspectors activities for all disciplines (Structural, Mechanical, Materials, Dimension Control, Painting, Document Control)
• Reviews the activities of the QC Engineers/Inspectors involved in the project. Confirms, verifies, and approves the Internal Release Note during the various sequence of fabrication operation.
• Responsible for the final review, approval, close-out of the documentation.
• Ensure compliance to all Safety procedures/requirements associated with inspections and mechanical completion/ testing’s.
