Lead Electrical Engineer

الوصف الوظيفي
Key client point of contact on projects responsible for job profitability, job cash flow, project quality.

Conduct early stage option analysis, strategy setting and critical review of the client brief to develop the optimum design solution at the early stage of the project.

Agree design philosophy/design fundamentals. Conduct option studies and prepare technical notes.

Prepare design reports and calculations. Review design and supervision documents.

Manage a team of engineers to deliver the project in line with the project program and available costs.

Procure project resources, plan projects with client/design team/contractor/authorities.

Review and improve the technical output of the team with involvement in:

Training and developing
Development of electrical Digital Design strategies optimization within BIM environment
Managing day to day workload and resourcing
Review of specifications, schedules and drawing output to ensure best practice
Standardization of calculation methodologies

Qualifications:

Minimum 10-12 years’ experience with an Electrical Engineering degree and registered with a Professional Electrical Engineering Institution. 

Data centre experience, Uptime, ATD, TIA certification are added advantages.

Minimum 5 years’ strong experience as an Electrical lead for design and supervision teams.

Strong experience at preparing client/project proposals, negotiating fee proposals.

المهارات
Good knowledge of concept design, buildability, detailed design, construction techniques, procurement routes, risk assessment and claim assessment.
Ability to develop relationships with clients and represent ALSuweidi at new project interviews.
