We are currently looking for experienced Technicians to join our Honda team in Abu Dhabi. As a Technician, your main role is to provide reliable fault finding and produce accurate corrective repair to result in good productivity and satisfaction to the customer. You need to ensure that the assigned service jobs are executed in line with the established work procedures, time and housekeeping standards & accurate reporting.

Specifically, you your key responsibilities are as follows

Prompt execution of service repairs requested on the repair order as per schedule provided.
Report additional job required in car with cost estimate.
Maintain Check Sheets and Log sheets
Upkeep tools and equipment in the individual bay as per company standards
Proper handling of special tools.
Proper housekeeping of the work bay
Ensure zero repeat repairs.
Proper diagnosis and trouble shooting.
Request for assistance through Supervisor if required.
Conduct final inspection as per the SOP.
Deliver the desired efficiency and productivity as per targets given.
Ensure prompt punch in and punch out to get the accurate booking hours
Complete the ELearning course and other on the job training as per the schedule provided by the Training Manager.
Enrol and get certification as per the CJDR/Volvo program.
Ensure follow up of standard operating procedures in technician role.
Proper usage of safety measures provided in the workshop.

You will be working in a busy workshop environment wherein you will be dealing directly with Foreman & your Co-Technicians in a daily basis.

About You:

The ideal candidate for this role should be a High School graduate or a Technical School graduate. You should have at least 2 - 3 years of related experience working in a dealership workshop and repair section of Japanese, American or European cars. You should have ability to provide established standards of Customer Service through diagnostic ability and assessment of car repairs/maintenance.

You should also be able to communicate effectively with strong analytical, communication and inter-personal skills with administrative competence.
