Welding Supervisor
Barakah / Abu Dhabi
$70,000 to $100,000 a year plus serviced accommodation, transport and meals
The Project
· Working for one of the main contractors on Unit 2 of the Barakah Nuclear Power Plant in Abu Dhabi.
The Responsibilities
Allocate and monitor welding related tasks to those under his control to achieve the required levels of performance and productivity.
Completion of site welding quality records and traceability for consumables, materials, consumables and plant items.
Estimating, ordering and deployment of welding related consumables and equipment.
Liaison with sub-contracts/commercial function to define and manage NDT, Heat Treatment & Gas supply contractors.
Implement safety procedures e.g. risk assessments, method statements, permit to work, Improvement Observation process etc
Complete pre and post weld inspections of weld and equipment set-ups to ensure compliance with specified standards, procedures and Work Instructions.
Ensure that post job assessments are carried out for all personnel in line with event completion dates and timely completion and submission of End of Outage Welding Supervisor Report to both Regional Office and Welding Services
The Benefits
Salary of $75,000 to $100,000 a year. Tax-free.

NVQ 3 (or equivalent) in Welding
CCNSG Safety Passport Training.
Internal Training – Welding Systems
3 years nuclear site experience
