United Safety is looking to hire the following specialists. Only those that currently in UAE, preferably in Abu Dhabi, should apply.

Job 0002/2021TOC “Technical Services Specialist”

Duties include but not limited to:

Turnaround season

Program, install, commission and maintain TeQ Shield™ equipment for turnaround projects
Plan, organize and control required activities with on-site client representative(s).
Install and dismantle TeQ Shield™ equipment; working at heights and in confined spaces. following company installation standards and TeQ Shield™ component recognition.
Problem solve to ensure operational readiness of TeQ Shield™ equipment and tests the system to ensure response quality.
Communicate with clientele to ensure successful delivery of key stakeholder’s requirements
Conduct thorough inspection, test and system check to ensure optimal performance of the system, including gas detection.
Is responsible to ensure that all bump testing and calibration of the gas detection system is complete.
Manage the contractor profiles data and ensures it’s accurately entered into the system
Ensure the transfer of records to the client including CSE logs, gas trends and video footage is completed effectively.
Set up Global Asset Management System (GAMS – TA) version on site and ensure to capture all of the assets engaged in the Turnaround.
Train the end users for both TeQ Shield and GAMS TA system during the deployment phase.
Work on generating reports from the approved business systems.

Off season

Assist the Products and Services manager with all assigned tasks
Supervise the TeQ Shield™ warehouse inventory, conducts maintenance, cleaning and ongoing inspections
GAMS Warehouse: Receive, Inspect, service, calibrate, and dispatch all portable (Single & Multi), fixed Gas detection system, and Breathing apparatus.
Ensure accurate record management for all Gas Detection equipment, based on their type and location.
Maintain accurate inventory management for all spares, and consumables in relation to gas detection equipment’s.
Handle POSI calibration of all the Breathing air equipment, and operate the gas detection docking station for Calibration, and bump test.
Assist with TeQ Shield™ Level 1 and Level 2 training courses.
Act as SME for TeQ Shield™ show and shines and demo trailer demonstrations.
Maintain the TeQ Shield™ equipment in the yellow rooms.
Assist with project planning, including attending need assessments and completing installation and commissioning plans.
Conduct Training session for the end users on the assigned business applications.
Assist in IT asset procurement, hardware management & repair, Cell Phone Acquisition, Service provider account management.
Ensure the integrity of United Safety’s Data and is kept confidential and disclosed only to individuals within United Safety and ensure strict adherence to United Safety Policies and Procedure.
Perform other duties as assigned by Director of IT, EVP and other Senior Executives.
Contribute to the function of the IT department in support of everything including Business Systems like Avanti, Spira, CRM MS Dynamics to new PC client rollouts to activating mobile devices, Server administration, WAN verification.
IT support will include, but not limited to, Helpdesk support, User creation/Suspension, software packages such as operating systems, networking components and office applications on PC’s, Tablets, Installs Peripherals, Printers and Monitors, Windows Server maintenance – AD admin, hardware replacement, patches, MS Office support including vision and project, Skype for Business, One Drive, SharePoint, IP Networking, and Citrix support.
License administration and PBX network phone administration.
Other duties as assigned.

Education: High School Diploma (Bachelor’s Degree)
Experience: 3 - 5 years
Field experience in an oil/gas or construction industry is a plus.
Currently located in Abu Dhabi
