Marine Assistant Resident Engineer

Responsibilities:

Supervise the construction of the Marine works under the guidance of the Marine Resident Engineer and/or Construction Manager.
Prepare construction progress reports, site inspection reports and certificates of non-conformance, if necessary.
Supervise subordinate site inspectors, surveyors etc. as necessary.
Conduct progress meetings with the marine contractors and produce minutes for the same.
Report on day-to-day progress to the PM, CM and Sr. Marine Design Engineer as necessary.
Liaise with the Marine Design Team on technical issues as necessary.
Participate in the implementation of site safety programs as necessary and maintain a proactive role in safety on site at all times.
Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

المهارات
Requirements:

Degree in Civil or Marine Engineering
Minimum 10 years of work experience including construction of breakwaters, marinas and quay walls.
Experience in construction of beaches and dredging preferred.
Experience in the UAE is preferred.
