Job Requirements:
• Receives & processes vendor invoices & internal cheques requests.
• Verifies invoices for quantity, unit pricing, extensions & applicable discounts.
• Obtains approval from appropriate personnel for payment for miscellaneous invoices.
• Codes invoices with accounting account numbers according to distribution in general ledger.
• Determines dates for invoices to be paid, keypunches invoices to computerized accounts payable system.
• Maintains alphabetical open invoice file for unpaid invoices.
• Sound knowledge of import and export documentation.
• Attaches duplicate copy of cheques to original invoices, stamp invoice “Paid” and files in permanent records.
• Process shipping documents in ERP by matching the quantities with packaging list and process with the quotation and proforma invoices to generate commercial/ tax invoices and circulate to sales department.
• Knowledge in ERP system.
• Performs other related duties as required or as assigned.
