Role Overview
Organisational Development Officer supports OD functions such as – HR Strategy, HR Processes, Restructuring, Change Management, Organisational Design, Job Families, Job Evaluations, Job Grading, HR Planning, Employee Performance Management, Performance Improvement Planning, Rewards & Recognition, Competency Mapping, Succession Planning, Employee Wellness & Satisfaction, Career Management, Employee Relations, Grievance Management, Disciplinary Procedures, HR Surveys & Employee Engagement.
Responsibilities
Write, review and develop HR Policies and Procedures to ensure they are relevant, up to date and reflective of HR best practices.
Evaluating department structures, advising management on the allocation of personnel and resources, and facilitating cost-effective and efficient procedures.
Creating organization-wide or department-wide strategies to implement change & improvement initiatives linking together people, process and systems.
Support HR Manager and the HR Team in delivering initiatives that help shape and deliver continuous programmes for organisational development.
Co-ordinate the implementation of the Employee Annual Objective Settings, Performance Reviews, Performance Appraisals, Performance Improvement Plans (PIP) and associated actions.
Identify and recommend areas of improvement in HR activities, services, policies and processes.
Design and coordinate employee surveys, facilitating focus groups and producing reports to summarise findings of research and offer recommendations of OD related initiatives to the HR Manager to support organisational performance improvement.
Support business transformation programmes such as ERP implementation to drive efficiencies and improve service delivery.
Implement strategic and analytical OD tools for HR services enhancement.
Provide accurate and timely advice to employees on all aspects of the HR policies & procedures.
Stay up to date with changes in UAE Labour laws that impact HR and accordingly notify the HR Manager for revisions and updates.
Enhance the HR performance through effective application & executions of OD plans.
Present complicated and in-depth HR statistics & reports based on the management request.
Provide operational support to various HR functions & projects.
Undertake any other reasonable request made by Management or the HR Manager.
المهارات
Preferred Experience:
5 to 7 years of working experience in a similar role in the Human Resources Department.
Proven work experience as an OD professional.
Working experience with HR Softwares.
Advance PC proficiency on MS Office skills on Excel, Word, Powerpoint.
Excellent knowledge and understanding of various OD strategies.
Strong knowledge of UAE Labour Laws.
Ability to work in a critical & challenging environment.
Exceptional English verbal & written communication & active listening skills.
Ability to demonstrate good leadership & proactive working skills.
Good conflict resolution & employee relations aptitude.
Ability to work as a part of a team & manage time efficiently.
Strong work ethics.
Operating Environment:
While main duties are predominately carried out in the HR Department, work may be required in other areas of the property.
