Urgent Opening for the position of Assistant Contracts Engineer/Quantity Surveyor in Oil & Gas industry in Abu Dhabi.
Job Profile:
• Basic awareness about contracts, commercial terms, and procurement procedures.
• Knowledge about the construction works – oil and gas candidates only
• Preferably an engineer with 3+ years of experience or a Diploma mechanical engineer with 5+ years’ experience
• Thorough knowledge of Microsoft office is a must. Any added courses like primavera, MS Access and SAP shall be a plus
• Awareness of Subcontractor liaison and invoicing procedures
• Execution of cost-benefit analysis and reporting to the management on time
• Shall be though with the handling of documents, ie both contracts and commercial documents. Must be capable of preparing and maintaining the logs for all the communications and related documentation.
• Knowledge of planning packages and their uses.
• Basic awareness about planning and execution of the works (electrical, mechanical, civil, instrumentation) works at the site.
