Logistics Manager/ Supervisor

We are looking for an experienced candidate for the below position.
Designation: Logistics Manager/ Supervisor
JD
• Handling all export & import shipments
• Establishing and implementing logistics procedures with the organizational requirements
• Negotiating prices and terms within the target budget with shipping lines, suppliers, and freight forwarders
• Preparing monthly freight comparison report for various ports; Planning the quickest and least costly transport routes (Air, Sea & Land)
• Check all payments of supplier documents, freight, and clearance and customs costs.
• Ensuring timely delivery of switch BLs & resolving arising issues with the shipping line
• Customs clearance knowledge in Dubai/Sharjah customs (Seaport / Airport & Border clearance)
• Supervise shipping/export documents, like B/L, L/C, Invoice, COO, Cargo manifest, contracts.
• Knowledge in getting pre‐Government approval (UAEIEC/MOFAIC/DCA), Certificate of origin, etc
• Ensure all operations adhere to laws, guidelines, and ISO requirements.
Desired candidate profile
• 5+ years of experience in Logistics.
• Holding the UAE-valid Driving License
• Fluency in English and added advantage of the local language.
• Experience from Oil & Gas industry as an added advantage (Lubricants)
