Private Brands Product Specialist

Job description / Role
• On-board vendors and ensure all compliance needs are met
• Work with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Packaging, Food Safety) to develop packaging and labeling for each product
• Work with regulatory team to ensure all products meet regulatory and food safety criteria
• Capture the unique “stories” of these products to tell share with our customers
• Develop processes and business rules to ensure we have a consistent supply of product
• Plan and execute purchase orders and coordinate with suppliers
• Plan and execute logistics plans for purchase orders and expedite as necessary
• Liaise with marketing and products team to incorporate customer feedback, buying patterns, and trends
• Analyzing the market opportunity and creating appropriate category development plans
• Manage the packaging design process to ensure that all products match the Private Brand marketing guidelines
• Manage the project progress of all projects highlighting and bringing to management attention any material variances in project progress or completion
• Conduct informal product sampling to assist in product choice

Requirements
• 2+ years in FMCG product development and/or project management is required
• Bachelor’s degree in either a technical or business discipline
• Proficiency in Excel
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Interest in health and wellness products and lifestyle
• Experience with private label strongly preferred
• Ability to work independently
