Job Title:  Boutique Manager – Food Retail

Location:  Abu Dhabi

The Client

The client is a large, local and semi-government owned FMCG organization with wholesale and retail channels regionally and internationally.

The Role

We are urgently looking for a Store Manager responsible for managing multiple stores and to maximize profit whilst minimizing costs. This position will be reporting to the Retail Manager.

Key Accountabilities

Completes store operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
Managing stock levels and making key decisions about stock control and maintaining inventories
Maintains awareness of market trends in the retail industry
Determines marketing strategy changes by reviewing operating and financial statements and departmental sales records.
Build relationships with regular key clients to ensure complete customer satisfaction
Identifies current and future customer requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual customers to understand service requirements and ensure the showrooms can compete effectively in the local market.
Markets merchandise by studying advertising, sales promotion, and display plans; analyzing operating and financial statements for profitability ratios.
Maintains operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
Deal with staff issues such as interviewing potential staff, motivating, conducting appraisals and performance reviews
Ensure compliance to all relevant quality, health, safety and environmental management procedures and controls

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
4-6 Years’ experience in a similar role within the retail industry preferably in food
Must have valid UAE driving license
In depth knowledge of market trends in the retail industry
Excellent communication and customer service skills
