Review architectural plans and prepare quantity needs.
Estimate the quantity and costs of materials.
Prepare contracts and related documents.
Track changes in plans or constructions; update budgets
Act as a liaison between clients and site managers/engineers
Keep track of construction materials and requirements.
Document progress, materials, and reports on project
Develop and maintain working relationships with contractors and subcontractors
assist in establishing a client’s requirements and undertake feasibility studies to ensure their proposals will work
coordinate with site surveyors, foremen and engineers to achieve the required progress.
prepare and analyze project costings for tenders, such as materials, quantities, labor and time
prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the engineer and/or the client
negotiate contracts and work schedules, and assuring the proper progress as per schedules.
allocate work to subcontractors and oversee their work at all stages of the construction
provide advice on contractual claims and disputes
analyze outcomes and write detailed progress reports
