Sales Manager will be responsible for sales, business development and overall sale revenue and profitability of the business unit he/she is responsible for. Topnet currently has four business units: cabling, data center, security & AV, and networking. The sales manager will have a team of external and internal sales people. The sales manager and the team will work through channel partners in UAE and other GCC countries. The sales manager will identify project business and also work with consultants and contractors on identified projects. He/she will have to travel extensively within UAE, and occasionally to other GCC countries. The job involves achieving the sales revenue and profit target for the business unit, business development, mentoring the team, coordinating with vendors on business plan and projects, maintaining relationship with vendors and customers.
المهارات
The right candidate will have at least 10 years of selling experience in IT / Telecom / Networking field. He/she should have at least 5 years of sales / business development in any of the areas of: structured cabling, data center, networking/wireless, security & audio video. He/she must have UAE experience and driving licence. Degree level education, preferably engineering is a minimum requirement. Specialised training in networking and selling skills will be an added advantage. Excellent communication skills and presentation skills are must. The person must have an entrepreneurial spirit and ready to work on a package which will have a high portion of it as variable, which will be linked to achieving the sales revenue and profit target.
