We are currently seeking to recruit a Business Controller for our F&B;client, in U.A.E. Its current home market is in EMEA. Aim: Understand what drives the financial performance of the business, measure it and provide actionable insight. Analyze financial data and provide reports, budgets and forecasts Manage receivables and payables originated by trading and the resulting liquidity requirement on a day to day basis Tasks & Responsibilities: Day to Day responsibility for receivables, payables and liquidity planning Data quality of financial information in operational systems (accuracy, completeness, transparency, justification) Revenue assurance and assurance of legitimacy of payables Understanding of business and operational performance drivers Day to day management and reporting of overdue receivables and their recovery Accurate and timely management reporting (sales performance, margins, focus topics) Design, measure and report financial KPIs (business drivers) Provide actionable insight to management on business performance and advise for the pursuit of financial targets Comparative analysis (vs. budget, previous year, forecast etc.) and commentary on reasons for actual vs. comparative performance Budgeting & Forecasts Financial Analysis (ad hoc) Build business plans (ad hoc) Assist Chief Accountant to deliver monthly and annual closing of accounts
