The Sales Manager will be responsible in gathering, maintaining and analyzing the market intelligence allowing for formulation of sales plan, define portfolio of customers and resulting production plan. The Sales Manager will ensure that commercial conditions agreed with the customers are fulfilled while maintaining up to date and accurate SAP information allowing for regular reporting of the performance to the management. This position is reporting directly to the Sales Director of Can Pack Middle East.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Preparation of sales plan according to the agreements with the customers, ensuring maximum capacity utilization.
2. Arrange regular visits to the customers, attend the industry exhibitions to maintain up to date market information.
3. Performing regular market research and monitoring business activity of the customers and competitors.
4. Negotiating terms of business with new and already existing customers.
5. Supervise timely order execution, timely deliveries and timely payments of receivables of the company.
6. Ensuring the payments is executed strictly according to contractual terms.
7. Supervising systematic order and data input in SAP related to sales operations.
8. Controlling the claims and follow up in claim resolution process.
9. Ensuring that the customers’ requirements agreed during the contracts negotiation are properly communicated to all concerned departments.
10. Reporting sales performance to company management on weekly basis.
11. Updating of company sales plan and the expected performance based on the market conditions.
12. Preparing and maintaining production plan to ensure the optimum resource and capacity utilization and communicate to other departments
regarding the updated sales plan.
المهارات
Bachelor’s degree; At least 5 to 7 years of the same professional level of experience in Sales and Marketing with relevant experience in a manufacturing industry; Proven track record of experience in a fast growing companies in international environment; Having good negotiation skills and knowledge in rules of international commerce and trade; Results-focused, analytical approach with a strong customer/client service ethos; Ability to work with people from different cultures and professional backgrounds, good Interpersonal skills and Team player; Responsible individual with high level of self-motivation and initiative; Experienced leader who can manage teams in changing circumstances; Process improvement mindset; Intermediate or above level of English Communication and Arabic speaking is a must; SAP implementation experience would be an advantage.
