The Organization:
Our client is a holding company with their main activity in trade of agricultural commodities. Next to that they have several investment projects, among others a Turkish restaurant. For this restaurant they are looking to hire an experienced Operations Manager who will make the re-opening of this restaurant a success together with the already hired Chef de Cuisine.
Duties & Responsibilities:
This role has a big impact and shared responsibility on operating profits and service satisfaction. The main responsibility is to drive revenue as well as controlling relevant non-food operating costs to create the best value for customers as well as shareholders.
Next to that the Operation Manager is responsible to:
• Manage and coordinate all aspects of food and beverage on a daily basis;
• Ensure compliance with standards of service and operating procedures;
• Adhere to local regulations concerning health, safety or other compliance requirements, as well as brand standards and local policies and procedures.

Skills & Competencies:
• Working knowledge of Food and Beverage service policies and procedures;
• Knowledge and ability to control factors affecting budget;
• Capable of using independent judgement/solid decision-making skills and ability;
• Proven excellence in customer service and experience to interact effectively with guests;
• Self-motivated to accomplish goals, with strong sense of responsibility;
• Working knowledge with general office PC applications;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Proven job reliability, diligence, dedication and attention to detail;
• Must be flexible with working time, public and other holidays
Education & Qualifications:
• Diploma in Restaurant/Hotel Management, Food & Beverage or related field;
• 4 years related experience including supervisory experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
• Previous experience managing a team of food and beverage service employees through motivation, coaching and development;
• Proven experience supervising food and beverage service departments of 10+ employees
