Our client, one of the world’s leading names is seeking a Lead Data Architect to head up a new Innovation Lab in Dubai. eMagine Solutions, the region’s leading Digital Science & Machine Learning Agency have been exclusively retained by this Global-Giant.
As the Enterprise Data Architect, you’ll play a key role in leading a close knit Architecture team already containing some of the most highly regarded Architect’s / Engineers in the GCC and the US. The remit is to Lead and introduced a suite of modules, policies, processes and other governance mechanisms within their technical environment. This will involve high level Architecture Design, Creating the Data Sets, liaising with the business on requirements gathering and taking complete System and Data Ownership.
You will develop and deliver long-term strategic goals for data architecture vision and standards in conjunction with data users, department managers, clients, and other key stakeholders. Create short-term tactical solutions to achieve long-term objectives and an overall data management roadmap. As well as create end-to-end vision on how logical design translates into one or more physical databases, and how the data will flow through the successive stages and establish methods and procedures for tracking data quality, completeness, redundancy, compliance and improvement.
The role will have complete autonomy and you will assess and determine governance, stewardship, and frameworks for managing data across the enterprise and create strategies and plans for data capacity planning, data security, life cycle data management, scalability, backup, disaster recovery, business continuity, and archiving.
You will work with large datasets and will translate business requirements into specific systems, applications, or process designs for large complex IT solutions while integrating I.T. and business architectures.
Your team will contain highly skilled Engineers who will have a deep understanding and application of modern data processing technology stacks. For example, Spark, Hadoop ecosystem technologies, and others as well as a deep understanding of streaming data architectures and technologies for real-time and low-latency data processing.
