Our client is the market leader in bespoke high quality entrance solutions and they are searching for an experienced and skilled Supervisor Level Engineer who has Automatic Doors or Elevator Installation Engineering experience for an iconic construction project in Dubai.
Competitive Pay (negotiable subject to experience) Basic + Car, Fuel & Expenses + iPad & mobile phone
You will work between the main contractor and your engineers to handle the installation of this high value entrance door, overseeing all the mechanical & electrical process & the construction of all the cabling, concrete, drilling and crane activity.
Our client have new premises in Dubai and are growing a new team, securing more projects across the region. There for this is unique opportunity to join a well established European business that intend to make their mark in the UAE, propelling your career progression very quickly.
Together with the Project Manager from the Main Contractor, you will be;
Running the new sites - this means Visiting Architects and clients and come to the best entrance solution.
Gathering information that is coming back from the clients needs to be translated into new drawings, so this needs to be discussed back to our factory who are making these drawings. Creating project files.
Taking care with your engineers that the site will be prepared for our installation. Cablings, Concrete, drillings, etc.
Ensuring you have all the paperwork required to be allowed on site.
Responsibility for all Health and Safety documents.
Arranging installation equipment. Like cranes etc.
Arranging permits.
When job is done, taking care of the hand over.
Taking care of back-calculations of jobs
Building up and holding an archive of all the new projects and maintenance projects.
Planning of all the maintenance work once installation is complete
Setting up appointments with the customer on the phone for restorative maintenance.
Making a summary of the work to be carried out by the service technician, jointly with the client.

You will work a 5 day week for a great employer who truly values a work / life balance and want their employees to be happy. You will however be expected to be on call for any major issues and potentially be available evenings or weekends to attend sites(s)
