About this role

Projects that the Distribution Management Intern will work on:

1. Logistics – VIP+ / VIP Customer Approach
- Implement & Execute Customer Centric approach (VIP Customer Concept) in Logistics for Hilti Emirates
- Have relevant daily / monthly reporting mapped to Marketing standards, with visibility on the Shop Floor Management board / SharePoint.
- Work closely and inclusively with business partners  Customer Services, Marketing and Domestic Transporter (UPS) to get the relevant information.
- Communicate and share reports / findings in a sustainable manner with Marketing / Sales team once process is defined and set up.

2. Streamline Logistics Invoice Approval and Validation Process
- Establish a structured process for Monthly Statement of Account Verification , monitoring and Reconciliation with Finance
- Ensure that Compliance and Audit is carried out periodically in a defined and sustainable manner.
- Define and implement  Invoice assignment guidelines and overview per Vendor.

3. Proactive Inbound monitoring
- Set up and define Proactive monitoring of Inbound Deliveries / Shipments.
- Establish and define a comprehensive Inbound Tracker.
- Correlate each open inbound delivery with associated Shipment (TA) number after pre advice / alert received from shipper.
- Proactively communicate to Business partners regularly - Material Management, Customer Service, Marketing teams on shipment delays.
- Log & Follow up on Complaints when issues / process deviations are encountered with Inbound Shipments.

Requirements to apply
• Completed Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management.
• Strong Microsoft and PC skills; including Access, Excel, PowerPoint,
• Ability to use Excel for analysis
• Strong Analytical skills and mathematical aptitude required
• SAP knowledge preferred
• Must be detail oriented and well organized
• Comfortable working with strict deadlines
• Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
• High level of motivation, customer focus, and a continuous improvement mentality required
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Willing to work in operational and office environment
