A Leading FMCG Group in GCC is looking for a Purchase & Logistics Manager to be responsible for and coordinate with procurement, logistics and supply-chain functions. The job role is based in Dubai will report directly to Operations Director.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, execute, and finalize procurement according to deadlines and within budget in order to deliver as per the plan.
Responsible for sourcing, selection and procurement functions associated with the company’s needs for materials and services at optimum cost, quality and delivery standards.
Negotiate and establish the contracts with the suppliers.
Supervision of forecast receiving, reconfirmations, confirming sales orders and order allocations.
Follow up with the distributors, freight forwarders, customs clearance, shipping companies, dispatch documents, etc.
Oversight of production and warehouse management.
Maintaining stocks at the right levels, avoiding obsolescence & ensuring best inventory turnover.
Develop Supply Chain & Distribution Strategy based on country by country local market & legal requirements considering regional set-ups & best practice processes.
Training, education and coordination with employees related to Purchase, Logistics, Production and Warehouse Management.
المهارات
Qualification, Experience and Skills:
Bachelor Degree in Logistics & Supply Chain Management OR in a related subject.
Minimum seven years purchasing and logistics / supply chain management experience in an FMCG Industry / Sales & Distribution is preferred.
Working knowledge of Oracle / Any other ERP is required; Knowledge of WMS is an added advantage.
Must be proficient in English, both written and verbal.
