HSE Officer (Health, Safety & Environment Officer)

الوصف الوظيفي
* To ensure compliance with all Health, Safety and Environment Requirements at all times.
* Ensure that all operations at all times are in compliance with the relevant UAE Regulatory requirements.
* Inspections/monitoring of all work places to ensure required controls are in place,
* The promotion of the safe conduct of work, hazard identification techniques and communication of corrective measures to management and staff.
* Ensuring update of the risk register and participation in conducting risk assessment for activities performed at the company.
* Coordination and issuance of Hot/Cold work permits for all non-routine works and for other works as applicable.
* Maintaining “eye wash” / safety shower (if required), first aid facilities and personal protective equipment by the nature of the work / Material Safety Data Sheets.
* Investigating of all types of accidents & reporting to relevant authorities as well as accident prevention and maintaining accident records.
* Training of workers and ensuring that they are issued with adequate instructions and creating awareness of safe work practices.
* Carrying out job safety analysis to determine hazards of operations/ activities and facilitating suitable solutions.
* Ensuring the provisions of local regulations Trakhees, its references and Dubai Municipality Local orders / Regulations / Guideline (where applicable are complied with.
* Ensure safe work practices for all chemicals/dangerous goods used at the company and compliance with Material Safety Data sheet requirements and maintain records for “all chemicals / dangerous goods” used / stored at the premises.
* Conducting HS&E;audits on regular basis and advice management for necessary actions.
* Liaise with members of the company and Trakhees on regular basis to ensure that all Local / State/Federal Health & Safety Requirements are met.
* Ensuring all waste is handled as per local regulations.
* Ensuring that Impact assessment of all activities performed by company is conducted and updated records are maintained.
* Work safely and in accordance with all company Health, Safety and Environmental rules and recommendations, and be proactive in maintaining a safe working environment.
* Any other duties as assigned by the management.

المهارات
* Degree / Diploma in any branch of Engineering or Technology or a Degree in Science with 1 Year Diploma / Certificate in Industrial Safety.
* Adequate Knowledge of English and Urdu/Hindi
* Knowledge of Arabic is an advantage
* Adequate Computer Skills using emails, MS office.
* Adequate communication skills.
* Practical experience of working in similar establishment in a supervisory capacity for at least 3 years or experience in training, education, consultancy or research in health and safety processes not less than 3 years
