Reporting to the Health and Safety Director - Operations, the Senior Health and Safety Manager will monitor the EXPO 2020 vision with regards to the management of Health and Safety for Third Party Projects. The Senior Health and Safety Manager will liaise with Third Party Project teams to ensure compliance with Expo’s Health and Safety Assurance Standards.
The main responsibilities of this role will include:
- Implement and maintain the Health and Safety Assurance Standards and ensure all Third Party Projects are aligned with the overall delivery strategy;
- Communicate Health and Safety requirements through the PMCs to the project teams;
- Ensure Third Party PMC and supervision consultants provide a sufficient number of competent Health and Safety resources;
- Implement an audit programme to monitor compliance with Health and Safety requirements and monitor the resolution of actions and close out of non-conformances;
- Identify leading and lagging key performance indicators for the projects and develop a suitable recording and reporting system; produce regular reports and conduct data analysis to identify trends and priorities requiring focus;
- Develop or ensure the development of suitable lessons learned. communications for internal or external use;
- Act as a point of contact and liaise with key stakeholders;
- Maintain and review the management arrangements for the duration of the project;
- Facilitate regular project Health and Safety leadership tours;
- Review monthly Health and Safety reports submitted for each project;
- Keep fully informed of all existing and proposed changes in applicable regulations and legislation.
المهارات
8+ years experience as a Healh and Safety Manager as well as:
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent (NVQ Level 6, BSC Diploma);
- CMIOSH or equivalent professional membership;
- Previous large scale project experience in UAE.
